Why Students Should Adopt AI

In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, understanding AI is no longer optional—it’s essential. As Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, states, “The future will belong to those who can harness the power of AI.” This sentiment underscores the necessity for students to engage with AI tools early on, enabling them to thrive in a world where technology shapes every aspect of life.

Dr. Fei-Fei Li

Dr. Fei-Fei Li, a leading AI researcher and professor at Stanford University, emphasizes the transformative potential of AI in education. She says, “AI can provide personalized learning experiences that adapt to each student’s needs.” By introducing students to AI, we not only enhance their learning processes but also prepare them to leverage this technology for future innovations.

Cathy O'Neil

Cathy O'Neil, author of Weapons of Math Destruction, warns about the risks of an AI-driven world, stating, “If we don’t teach our children about AI, they will be unprepared to navigate its complexities.” This highlights the critical need for educational programs that empower students with the knowledge to understand, question, and use AI responsibly.

Musk

Elon Musk

Elon Musk emphasises the urgency of AI literacy, asserting, “I think it’s very important to have a future that is inspiring and appealing. AI should be part of that future.” By equipping students with AI skills, we encourage them not just to be consumers of technology but also creators, fostering innovation that can lead to a better society.

Margaret Atwood

Margaret Atwood, the renowned author, reminds us, “The future is not something we enter; the future is something we create.” This course aims to give students the tools required to actively participate in creating a world that reflects their values and ideas.
